I have to be honest, I haven’t been taking vitamins to support my body as I should have, since after giving birth to Savvi. While I breastfed her I did continue taking prenatal supplements, but then my focus was more on her rather than me. In fact, there has been some disconnection with my body.
Now that she’s older and I’m getting older it’s important to me that I am more proactive in maintaining and improving my wellness. I started yoga again last year and that has helped me to reconnect with my body.
I finally ordered doTERRA Lifelong Vitality which is on the way!! I have been wanting to try them since I started using doTERRA products, but never got around to it. I kept hearing amazing things about these supplements, and want to try them for myself.
I have started taking a multivitamin formulated for women, along with Flaxseed oil. My body feels amazing, and I don’t feel as much stress on my knees. Part of that is because I’ve lost a little weight and the lubrication I’m getting with staying hydrated and the additional nutrients. I feel good and I’m looking good too.
I think my energy levels are higher, and it’s so much easier getting up earlier to start my day. It’s kind of sad, I didn’t realized how I was pretty much running on fumes. When you put yourself first and start focusing on what matters, magic happens.
Before I started the Lifelong Vitality I made sure all my supplements taken together won’t cause any issues. After researching I feel good about my choice to continue my multivitamin too. When making dietary changes it’s important to consult a professional to ensure your body remains in homeostasis.
When I start the Lifelong Vitality I am going do document it and do a review. I am going to try it for a full 30 days and see what changes that brings. So this is Phase 1 in my wellness journey.
Making sure I am staying hydrated and adding in supplements. That’s it super simple. When I was in Corporate America it was easier for me to meet my water requirement, because we had filtered water. I had a 36 oz water bottle that I would drink and refill at least 4 times which put me well over my water intake goal. Buying bottled water creates waste and can be taxing.
Luckily for me, there’s a Whole Food near my office. I’m going to invest in a couple glass water containers and refill. That way as I’m getting healthy I’m helping Mother Earth. Stay tuned I will be sharing the essential tools I am using to help me along my wellness journey!
