It’s my Birthday Season!!! Which means I’m blessed to be aging gracefully! After having Savvi, who is now 3, my body changed a lot. I gained a lot of weight and it’s easier for me to put it on than to lose it now.
Holistic Means Whole
I don’t have the same energy that I did after I had Kaylah, there is a difference in my body for sure, though it is subtle. Don’t get it twisted, I still have a lot of life left to live and I want to live my life being as active, healthy, fit, and FLY AF as I can be!
You know I am all about holistic healing and wellness, so this dive into health isn’t that far off from what I do as The Spiritual Love Coach. I take a holistic approach to spiritual love which includes loving yourself!
This is the area of self love that I will be focusing more on in my personal life. Lately for Wellness Wednesday in the Spiritual Love Circle I talk about how our needs are different and the importance of wellness.
I see so many people bashing others for their food, fitness, and wellness choices and it makes me so sick!
Fitspiration – Fitness Inspiration
I worked out when I was pregnant with Savvi, then life happened and that changed. It’s been so hard for me to get back into a fitness routine. Until I came across Kathy Drayton’s Instagram profile.
She’s so sweet, but most of all she inspires me on a deep level. I’ve never met anyone who matched what my ideal body would be.
For me it’s important to have visual representation, I know what my physique is like naturally and it was hard finding a trainer who mirrored that.
I know that I can be in my best shape and it’s time for me to start my fitness and wellness journey. The last few years I have experimented with different diets and have looked into a lot of gyms and fitness programs.
I’ve even been taking an additional Health Coach Certification, because I’m serious about this transformation.
The Journey Continues
Well I can’t say that I am starting a fitness journey, but taking it a little deeper. Some of the things included are increasing the number of days I practice yoga, taking a daily multivitamin and supplements, like Lifelong Vitality, and drinking more water.
Studying fitness and nutrition helps me decide what is best for me physically. Then I can find a personal trainer or fitness program that suits my needs (although I’m pretty certain I will be investing in the 30 day transformation program).
For now my focus is making sure my body is well nourished and that my mind is prepared for the changes I wish to see in my life when it comes to my fitness and wellness.
I give thanks for being in good health and wish for that to continue. I’m excited about the changes that are taking place in my life. Being more active will serve me well.
