Boundaries help people respect you and they protect you. Having boundaries keeps you safe and is important for your overall well-being. It’s true we do treat people how to treat us.
If you aren’t liking how you are being treated in relationships, ask yourself a few questions:
- Is this what I want?
- Does it feel good?
- What boundaries exist?
- What do I want to change
If you see there aren’t any boundaries, or they aren’t being respected, rethink the relationship.
